Modern dangdut phenomena that are 'in', has recently become a promising land for the new artist in indonesia. However, it also resulted in a slowing down of new artists in the realm of pop music. Meutia Cut was forced to change her musical genre.



Meutia Cut felt her pop single "Duda Kaya" hampered. The pop genre was defeated with dangdut genre which she said is booming. So many requests for her to singing dangdut, this former presenter finally prepare some dangdut music to accompany her while performed. In fact, the closest person to her advised to change from pop singer into a dangdut singer.

 Meutia admitted she reluctant to change her musical genre to dangdut like Cut Memey and Bella Shofie. She claimed not to be ready with the dangdut genre. "So far, there is no problem when I sang dangdut, but if I produced specifically to singing dangdut, nah.. I'm not ready. So it is okay to singing dangdut if it by request," said Meutia.

 "If I performed in the country side, most frequently I asked to sing a dangdut song that is popular in that area. Such as "Sakitnya Tuh Disini" song", said Meutia when reported by KapanLagi.com ® at Senayan recently.
